About Us

The team at Alberta Health Institute has been assisting Calgarians since its inception in 2001.  During this time, our team has worked diligently to create health plans to optimize the health of our patients.  As your bodies are complex and unique, so will your individual treatment regimen.  Oftentimes, more than one modality is necessary to address your ailments.  Modalities offered by the team at the Alberta Health Institute include chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, nutrition, naturopathy, yoga, body talk, fitness coaching, personal coaching, energy work, different soft tissue techniques and pet chiropractic.  Yes, even your four-legged family members can benefit from our care!

Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of Calgarians, one person (or four-legged family member) at a time, so that they may reach their full life’s potential.  A healthy community will cause ripples of health throughout other communities and hopefully, to every other community and citizen on this great planet.

Dr. Debbie Wong
Chiropractor

Dr. Debbie Wong has been honing her particular method of chiropractic therapy since she began practice in 1997.  By incorporating traditional techniques of spinal adjustments, biomechanics, soft tissue techniques, nutrition, and lifestyle improvements, along with eastern philosophies such as yoga and meditation, she has assisted numerous patients on their journey to health.  Dr. Debbie believes that healing comes from the inside out, in which food is the foundation of our health and the body heals itself with appropriate guidance.  Having a healthy body and mind is everyone’s destiny and birthright, and by focussing on healing the whole person and not just the physical, Dr. Debbie will provide you with a completely holistic treatment in each and every session.
